Aluminum foil tape: use and application
Aluminum foil tapes are often used to seal, repair, insulate and protect the joints of fiberglass or aluminum backed duct board. Thanks to the union of aluminum, a highly flexible material, with the adhesive tape, resistant to atmospheric agents, the aluminum foil tape is a particularly versatile product that can be used in several industrial fields, from production to construction.
Aluminum foil tapes have a wide range of applications thanks to the properties that characterize them: resistance to humidity and chemical agents, thermal conductivity, resistance to high temperatures and the ability to diffuse and reflect light.
Aluminum foil tape for air conditioner
Aluminum foil taps are widely used especially in the HVAC sector to eliminate air leaks in air conditioning and ducting systems. In fact, they can be used to seal gaps or to better fix poorly connected ducts. In addition, some types of foil tapes are also designed to fix, join and seal foil faced air conditioning duct insulation when used externally, to protect them from humidity, atmospheric agents, smoke, corrosion and rust.
