The artist Baldo Diodato represents Laminazione Sottile Group at the “Corporate Art” exhibit (Rome, 26 June – 11 October 2015).
The artistic composition “Fusione in Atto” (Fusion in Progress) is made of aluminum, glass, resin, forex plastic, led lights and adhesive letters.
The National Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art (GNAM) will host the "Corporate Art" exhibit in an effort to enhance relations between the business and art worlds.
The exhibit, organized in collaboration with the crowdsourcing platform pptArt and the LUISS Creative Business Center, aims to restore the traditional cooperation between the two fields and demonstrate the recent rediscovery of art's potential in marketing, corporate social responsibility and business communication.
Many firms submitted proposals related to their partnerships with artists where the Mission or the Corporate Image was the object of the work of art. Sponsorships of art events and works of art commissioned in a perspective of patronage were excluded.
The final works were selected by a joint Gnam-pptArt commission which ranked the proposals according to their artistic value and their interpretation of the Corporate Image/Mission of the firm.
The exhibition includes more than seventy works of Italian and international contemporary artists, along with works by famous 20th century Italian artists.
