Laminazione Sottile received by UK Trade & Investment Dept. the UK-Italy Business Award-Industrial Investment section.

The Award has been given by the British Government to Italian companies that have chosen the United Kingdom as a key market for their international business development in the course of 2014.

Laminazione Sottile was awarded for the creation, in Telford, Shropshire county, of a modern and efficient plant for the production of aluminium food packaging.

The ceremony was organized by the British Consulate General in Milan and UK Trade & Investment (Ukti), the government agency for export and investment promotion, and it took place on January 22, 2015 in Palazzo Mezzanotte, Milan’s headquarters of Borsa Italiana – London Stock Exchange Group.

Together with the winners, representatives from business, finance and media sectors gathered at the event, Her Majesty's Ambassador to Italy Christopher Prentice and Raffaele Jerusalmi, Ceo of Borsa Italiana.

Luca Moschini, CEO of Laminazione Sottile, attended the event. He also holds at the Industrial Union of Naples the positions of Vice President for the Manufacturing Development, Innovation, Research and Competitiveness and of Councilor for Administrative Affairs.
